Hello everyone. I hope I am finding you struggling with dutch vocabulary building. Not to gloat of course, but only because I am starting a newsletter to help you out.
Being a busy mom leaves me with little to no time to learn a lot of words in one sitting. But one word per day seems reasonable enough to get me thinking. You might think this is of no use, but if I have learned something in the ton of self-help books I have read or listened to, it is that the compound effect is your best friend. Word by word you can add a ton to your dutch vocabulary. Or you can wait for the perfect opportunity to learn 50 new words per day. Call me when this time comes for you. For me, it is all gone. That was doable in my teens. Now double that age and with two kids around me, it just doesn’t happen. So compound it is.
Come join my very simple dutch vocabulary builder newsletter. You are about to receive a word of the day with its meaning, three useful expressions with that word, and a link to a post with more exercises. Do the exercises if you have extra time, or leave this for the weekend – it is all up to you. I am here to feed you all one dutch word per day until we can talk to total strangers with confidence.
